About the Kadai Brand
Kadai Firebowls was inspired by traditional Indian cooking bowls known as “kadais”, which have been used for centuries to cook large meals over open fires during festivals, weddings and family gatherings.
The modern Kadai story began when founder Christo McKinnon-Wood discovered these bowls while travelling in Rajasthan. After bringing one back to the UK, he experimented with using it as a fire bowl, eventually transforming the traditional cooking vessel into a versatile garden feature that works as both a fire pit and barbecue.
Today, Kadai products combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative design, creating unique outdoor cooking and heating solutions for gardens and outdoor spaces.
